Who is Pack 648?
Our pack is represented by the San Diego Imperial Council and serves the greater Rancho Penasquitos community within the Rancho Mesa Zone. Pack 648 is comprised of families from the Rancho Penasquitos area and generally serves local elementary schools including Adobe Bluffs, Deer Canyon, Sundance, and Sunset Hills. We are a gender neutral pack and welcome all children of school age levels kindergarten through fifth grade. While having fun is an essential outcome of our activities, we remain guided by the rules and policies set by the national organization to best set forth and achieve goals. Please visit the BSA website for more information.
Meet our Dens
Groups of children in the same grade meet monthly together as a Den. Typically a den is composed of 5 to 10 cub scouts. Each den is led by a Den Leader and an Assistant Den Leader together with other parents.

Pack Management (Updates + Advancement)
Advancement in rank recognition is important to young children. The Cub Scout advancement provides fun, gives a sense of personal achievement as children earn badges and strengthens family understanding as adult family members work with boys on advancement requirements.
